Hi Jacqueline,

Thanks for the photos and videos. I found the course very informative, sorry my cutters were so awful! I would have loved another day of lessons. Then we would have gotten more into engraving. I gained a lot more information that I can use further. Thanks again.

P.S. It's a shame we don't live closer together, otherwise I would have loved to have lessons from you once a week for a while.

M.

Dear Jacqueline,

It's been a week since I was with you. I must say it was a very special experience, in a positive way!

Your unparalleled craftsmanship, expertise, and love for your craft are very inspiring. I've told many fellow goldsmiths about my day and hopefully made them enthusiastic about taking a class with you or possibly having you do some engraving.

First, I need to practice—making meters, as you call it. Ideally, I'd like to explore how I can integrate/use engraving into my jewelry, once I've gained a certain basic skill. As promised, I'll stay in touch.

I wish you the best of luck with everything, and thanks again!

Sincerely,

Paulien

Dear Jacqueline,

Thank you again for a very interesting introductory workshop on hand engraving last Sunday; I found it very informative!

And what impressive pieces of jewelry you've created...it's amazing that you can create something so beautiful with simple tools! I enameled my piece right away on Sunday afternoon; I'm very happy with it.

Hello Jacqueline,

Thank you for your photos and videos. I'll keep them for reference.

You gave me all the information I needed to improve. I now have a better understanding of what to look for and have gained more insight into how studs work.

That's what I needed. I appreciated being able to ask anything, which allowed me to get the information I needed.

I'm very happy with the beautiful booklet you created. You kept a close eye on the time, ensuring the schedule went smoothly. I was engrossed in the course, making the time fly by.

I'm currently busy with other projects and such, but I'll definitely be working on engraving in the near future.

Thank you for your wonderful course.

Best regards,

A.M.

Hi Jacqueline,

The introductory hand engraving workshop was a lot of fun, a great way to (superficially) get acquainted with hand engraving.

The atmosphere was relaxed and the guidance was excellent.

The fact that we were able to engrave something within the few hours we had is really impressive!

Hi Jacqueline,

How's it going? I'm practicing engraving. The lines aren't perfectly straight yet, but I'm not dissatisfied. You were right.

Now that I've got my cutters in order, I can engrave better. I've got all the cutters at a length that works for me. And if they don't flow smoothly, I sharpen them a bit more upright or smooth them out. I can now cut into the copper without constantly slipping.

Your course was very helpful to me.
