Curriculum EN

She was born and raised on Texel in the Netherlands. In 1988, Jacqueline began her engraving training at the Polytechnic School MTS Vakschool in Schoonhoven. She specialized in weapon engraving during her internship at Browning, a weapons engraving workshop affiliated with the FN arms factory, in Liège, Belgium. In addition to her internship, she perfected her hammer-and-chisel engraving technique through studies at the Technical School of the Armored School ICET – Leon Mignon and gained practical experience at Browning.

In 1995, Jacqueline experimented with the most refined and sophisticated Italian techniques using bulino and magnifying glass. She collaborated with Cesare Giovanelli's engraving studio in Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia, Italy), a long-standing partner of the Beretta firearms factory, and gained practical experience in various Italian goldsmithing and engraving studios. At the end of 1995, she moved to Milan, where she continued her work as a hand engraver. She shared her knowledge of the fascinating art of engraving through demonstrations and courses at fairs, exhibitions, and events in Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, and Italy. In September 1997, Jacqueline began collaborating with the renowned international engraving and goldsmithing studio of jeweler Gianmaria Buccellati. There, she gained practical experience in engraving jewelry.

In March 1999, Jacqueline Jimmink established herself as an independent craftswoman. When she moved back from Italy to Texel with her family in 2014, she brought with her the knowledge of the Italian masters. And she's happy to share it.
