The Tri-Cotti consists of two lengths of fabric that
are very easy to put on and with which you can carry
your baby in four different manners:
- Lying down (during the first months)
- Sitting straight-up, facing you
- Sitting straight-up, facing the wide world
- On your hip. In the security of the sling, baby
experiences the world from its safe position.
The Tri Cotti:
- With this sling, you can carry your baby
both lying-down and upright. And this is unique! The
first few months, your baby lies comfortably against
you in the natural foetal position. Baby's back, neck
and head are not burdened, but optimally supported.
From approximately three months, the baby can be carried
sitting upright. It is then seated on a wide bearing
surface, its legs spread and with a rounded back.
This is an ideal position for the development of healthy
hip joints. Your baby does not hang, but leans relaxed
against you.
- The Tri Cotti has 3 sizes: S, M, L. Choose the
right size! Choose the sling according to the size
of the person who is going to be carrying the child.
The age and weight of the baby is not important.
Pay attention: the sling stretches about 5cm whilst
carrying.
- Ergonomic experts agree that a baby should
not be forced into a harness. Carrying harnesses in
which a baby is strapped vertically are not good for
the baby's back because its head pushes too heavily
on the spine at this stage in life. In a sling like
the Tri Cotti, the baby's back is absolutely not burdened:
the baby need not carry itself; it simply leans against
the parent, without burdening it's back.
- A sling is undoubtedly also the most pleasant
carrying system for the parent. The wide cotton slings
cover the entire shoulder surface of both shoulders
and completely divide the baby's weight over the upper
part of the body. Neck and back are barely or not
burdened. It allows you to carry your baby effortlessly
for hours. There is no daily time limit to how long
you can carry your baby in the Tri-Cotti. It is entirely
up to you. The weight of your body is evenly distributed
so that your posture does not have to compensate for
carrying your baby.
- The Tri Cotti is very easy and simple to
put on. There are no buckles or buttons so nothing
can be too tight or jammed. Two wide bands go over
the shoulders, crossed over the chest and back and
then under the arms. You can put it on in no time!
